... My plastic work seeks to abolish language and, at the same time, relies on it.
It addresses original thought, not ideas. It overvalues symbols and then devalues them. It sends messages to intuition, in addition to reason. It seeks to observe the symbols in space and their interrelation, as well as to investigate the nature of the materials and their background or origin, without forgetting the importance of the title in the work and the historical-cultural context. in which it fits.
Through my creative writing, as well as my drawings, paintings, performances, photographs, videos and installations, I seek to help people understand why they do what they do, through the analysis and interpretation of our designs and their origin, as well as how to promote critical thinking and poetic experimentation with the world.
I have realized more than 35 collective exhibitions and 5 solo exhibitions and exhibited in Mexico City, Alicante, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, San Diego, Toronto, Dallas, Paris, Prague and Bombay among others. I have written 12 novels and 6 books of poetry...
