Until 1995, i worked on hyperrealism; he taught me fine observation and rigorous execution.
Spontaneity was limited to the initial conception of my work.
After a brief foray into lithography, i naturally moved on to calligraphy for these body movements that are necessary.
In the relationship, the dialogue between meaning and form, i decided in 1998 to explore form in more detail.
This is what i call over-calligraphy painting.
I mainly work in two mediums. The wood that i carve in bas-relief by over-calligraphing it with my sculptures and, the tarpaulin.
Of course, i chose my tools.
Alongside my brushes, reeds, pens and inks, i use my digital piano: two large screens, an excellent computer equipped with powerful software, connected to a powerful plotter that allows me to edit large formats...
I create original digital prints. I always rework on these proofs, in graphite pencil, acrylic, etc... From time to time i overcome them with original mobiles... This is the path i took; maybe it will cross with yours... !
