CELSO CASADO GONZALEZ #PAINTING
Celso Gonzalez Casado is a humble but profound artist, in a persistent search for expression.
He shifts playful the movements of the matter, the colours and their reflections.
Free of mind, he is able to embrace the perceptions of a pleasing abstract gaze, soothingly chaotic, with astute visual nuances.
Graceful in all manner of expression, the pattern of his colours strike by their tenderness, justness and perhaps even unexpected impactful accents.
Their lyrical forms form an intrinsic rhythm ranging from raw figurative to abstract poetry.
DANA RADULESCU #ENGRAVING
" I etch and engrave for the memory, to preserve my precious childhood memories. I attempt to share what I manage to save: the wonder and candour of these first life experiences.
I plunge into the material to reveal a world of dreams, populated by contemplative characters or in a motion resembling a dance. The dance, this first expression of the body, prolonged through the fingertips into the drawing, into the engraving.
The worlds of plant, animal and human; I seek their harmony. "
MONIKA SABO #PAINTING
ORIGINAL SIN / SHE IS ASLEEP NOW / DILEMMA / I THINK EVERYONE WENT CRASY / JOZEFINA, WHERE ARE YOU TAKING US / RUSH OF IDEAS / ...
...The artistic universe of the Slovak artist Monika Sabo is at the very least surprising or extraordinary.
Dreamlike or particularly realistic, it gathers, individuality, human crowd,..
Those are Singular-Plural Gaze which can express such, pain, love, passion as well as emotion, sadness and ... joy.
Original works with crucifying faces, the expressed words of Monika Sabo overwhelm and take us away.
How can one express this necessity of the exploration of the self without harassing our deep faith in others?
For the artist, the unreality of dream, and thought, spring up in her works or gazes; portraits and bodies are but noisy cries, vectors of the ordinary or silence of the immortality!?....
LAURENCE BERTINI #PAINTING
And so, she expresses herself, lively and poetic,... Without restraint !
Her work is precise and yet it suggests a freedom of vision.
Bodies are there women, men are alive, dreamed, loved, free...
Laurence bertini twirls and structures, she wishes for some indolence and yet paints the movements, the poses
RONNIE JIANG #PAINTING
AWAKENING / BODY LANGUAGE / BRAINWASH TIME / DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO THINK / FRAGMENTS / LE REGARD / JUDGE ME NOT / GRRR / ...
Her pictorial works transport us to an imaginary place of chimerical lands, openning the gates of an elsewhere somewhere between fable, tales and comedy.
Her approach, somewhere between traditional painting and the anime culture, notably features expressive portraits which are especially recognizable by the particular grey and diaphanous skin of the characters within.
The scenes she depicts evoke, in a poetic manner, the world of dance and fables. Her still lifes are sexed and cartoon characters coexist with zany or familiar animals. The pictorial depiction inside her paintings, their manifest oddness, appear to have seeped through the cracks of a wonderland. Realistic but distorted, they collide across several cultures and eras.
At first glance, a certain naivety may veil the works of the Indonesian artist. A deeper glance reveals a soundly rooted social conscience. Thus, some of her series denounce with humor the shortcomings of our society by blending in, almost subliminaly, critical messages. Her audacity resonates with her atypical career; that of a contemporary artist with a prolific fluidity. Since her first exhibitions in 2013, her work has traveled throughout Europe, the United States and Asia.
Ronnie Jiang now lives and works in Paris.
BANU GROTE #PAINTING
The expression of my painting has its deep roots in my consciousness and in mystical art.
Art has never been for me a superficial appearance of reality; it is a subtle and ongoing dialogue of the mystery that expresses itself through the creation.
This experience of the inner worlds transmitted through the symbolic shapes like voids and circles using different materials like sand, organic elements found in nature, wax, gypsum, fabric which leaves my consciousness, my spirit in spontaneous action.
I know that the artist by creating his works can lead the spectator towards spiritual, mystical worlds guessed, felt by the interior conscience... It is a responsibility¡
When I start a job, a dialogue is established with the materials: they speak to me, they have their own language and prosody and from there a dialogue is combined between me and the materials.
Then begins a type of struggle between the idea that I wish to express and the constraints of the "material" form that I want to give it.
The development and changes are dictated or submitted by the materiality, the very vision of this work.
Thus everything becomes an unavoidable dialogue between the original idea, born from everyday sensation and the materials....
IVAN BUENADER #PAINTING
SINTOMAS DE UNA MISMA ENFERMEDAD / DESPEDIDA / CUERPO COMO SENSIBILIDAD / ADAPTACION HEDONISTA / MONUMENTO / LA MAQUINA DE IMPEDIR / ...
... My plastic work seeks to abolish language and, at the same time, relies on it.
It addresses original thought, not ideas. It overvalues symbols and then devalues them. It sends messages to intuition, in addition to reason. It seeks to observe the symbols in space and their interrelation, as well as to investigate the nature of the materials and their background or origin, without forgetting the importance of the title in the work and the historical-cultural context. in which it fits.
Through my creative writing, as well as my drawings, paintings, performances, photographs, videos and installations, I seek to help people understand why they do what they do, through the analysis and interpretation of our designs and their origin, as well as how to promote critical thinking and poetic experimentation with the world.
I have realized more than 35 collective exhibitions and 5 solo exhibitions and exhibited in Mexico City, Alicante, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, San Diego, Toronto, Dallas, Paris, Prague and Bombay among others. I have written 12 novels and 6 books of poetry...
Ivan Buenader (Argentina, 1972) lives and works in Alicante.
EDUARDO TARTAS #PAINTING || ART DRAWING
"...I cannot and must not merely express a ordinary mindset or posture...I mean to paint, draw what we are or imagine ourselves to be, or at least to suggest it... As did Bacon, I would rather paint the Scream than the Horror causing it...I intend to have the essence be considered rather than being imposed... Fortunate to be the decision-maker, I would choose this profile of the face, this perspective of the senses, and carry out this entire unveiling of what I consider to be beautiful, good, Us..."
BRUNO ANTONY ( DIT.A.THOURET ) #PAINTING
DEMI TAUREAU / ET SI DIEU / LA VACHE COTÉ PILE / LE MONDE A L'ENVERS / LE SERRE FILE / NEW GÉNÉRATION / SUR LE FIL / SOUVENIR DE RAMALARD / ...
"... I am free to express myself, to think, to memorize, I have the feeling of existing only if I still have this capacity to invent, to renew myself ... "
Bruno Antony is an atypical artist born in 1962 in Rouen.
He practices both painting, collage, drawing, sculpture, photography, performance and music.
Today he shares his life between the Parc de la Terre Noire in Nyoiseau, Rochefort-sur-Loire and Beaucouze where he has his pied-a-terre and workshops.
His artistic work is a personal writing, formed of symbols and intense colors, freely inspired by comics and Pop Art.
His creations are part of the movement of free figuration, however Bruno Antony does not hesitate in his recent works to move away from it by giving more space to gesture and spontaneity.
HUGO DURAS #PAINTING
JEUNE FEMME SUR LE DIVAN / CONFIDENT ORANGE / LE CHEVAL Á BASCULE / L'HOMME AU COEUR BLEU / PETITE SCÈNE INTÉRIEURE / POTYPE 01 - 02 - 03 / ...
Artist, painter and sculptor, Hugo Duras "writes" a unique expression abiding by his own grammar.
He enjoys a hide-and-seek of shapes, forms, materials and colours.
He is able to intertwine different techniques and media, mixing figurative and abstract universes.
His paintings are clearly influenced by the post-impressionist and surrealist period of which he is particularly fond of.
His hand is free, he creates numerous "scenographies" or a few life " details " perfectly improvised with a somewhat candid, child-like and poetic allure.... Young and Old alike can then make up their own stories, their own poetry...
Finally, he breaks the "fourth wall" which stands between his scenes and us, the viewers.
So, we enter an surprising universe, alive and of multiple perspectives which are never still...
LUC ARRIGNON #PAINTING
"... From 2009, i decided to devote myself fully to my work as a visual artist.
Until 1995, i worked on hyperrealism; he taught me fine observation and rigorous execution.
Spontaneity was limited to the initial conception of my work.
After a brief foray into lithography, i naturally moved on to calligraphy for these body movements that are necessary.
In the relationship, the dialogue between meaning and form, i decided in 1998 to explore form in more detail.
This is what i call over-calligraphy painting.
I mainly work in two mediums. The wood that i carve in bas-relief by over-calligraphing it with my sculptures and, the tarpaulin.
Of course, i chose my tools.
Alongside my brushes, reeds, pens and inks, i use my digital piano: two large screens, an excellent computer equipped with powerful software, connected to a powerful plotter that allows me to edit large formats...
I create original digital prints. I always rework on these proofs, in graphite pencil, acrylic, etc... From time to time i overcome them with original mobiles... This is the path i took; maybe it will cross with yours... !
AURELIE JEANNIN #PAINTING
GRAND ESPACE LIBRE / TOILE JAUNE AU CARRÉ / VIBRANCES / LIGNE ROSE SUR FOND MAUVE / ABSTRACTION LYRIQUE / WILD ABSTRACT / ...
Born in the 2020s, as the gloom settles on a background of uncertainty and anxiety, and malaise and despair spread amongst individuals, Positiv'Art is a fruitful work of introspection and questioning, a painful and necessary uphill pilgrimage, to reconquer the essential.
Throughout this inner journey, the artist will draw from his deepest self an unsuspected energy leading to the emergence of surprisingly positive works in their choice of colours, their usage of their material, their gestures, and the sensations of strength and freedom they exude.
Far from expressing fear or the sense of confinement, his pictorial work transcends reality to become the vector of an incredible vital force, thus demonstrating that the artist, through his departure from context, is unrestrained. An unrestrained freedom which, although fragile, is fundamental.
If art has long been distanced from its aesthetic function, it now reclaims a purpose in embellishing everyday life, however it is not a matter of superficial aesthetic. The work is neither a superfluous decoration, nor a luxury, but an essential component of our existence.
Art is never neutral, it acts upon people, it impacts our sensibility, it conveys messages, values and sensations. Positive Art seizes this timeless truth and asserts its communicative optimism, even claims it.
It thus creates essential links between people, through space and through time. Aurélie Jeannin
MARC MENGUS #PAINTING
Marc Mengus is an Abstract Expressionist Painter..
He emphasizes the material and the color,..., he suggests a movement.
His works are all marked by a climate which allows to be inspired.
The works are intentionally nameless; no etymological or semiotic influence should anchor the imaginary, which must remain free.
Born in 1959 in Strasbourg, Marc Mengus settled in a small village in the south of Alsace.
It is there, close to nature, quiet, far from untimely noises that he works.
ELENA AGUILERA CIRUGEDA #PAINTING
Elena Aguilera (1962) works the world of lines to trace the experiences through which we recognise ourselves, the drawing comes to us as a code of signs and ideas in which to reflect our concerns. Drawing in its linear discourse, in its becoming between light and shadow. Material of thought, philosophy, and perception.
Painting is born as a recognition of the forms, but also as the result of a search which goes beyond the mere presence, it investigates the thought of the human being to the point where the drawing becomes the interpreter of a reality, but describing it to be understood by the human being.
Ever since human beings understood the way in which we understand reality was immersed in this discourse of lines, we entered an era in which existence began to have something magical about it. The transcendence as an expression of fear and the unknown, follows the invention of its planar abstraction, that is, Painting.
