Loic Tarin -Doud- seeks to capture and convey the stature of the modern Man amidst the innate natural world, the innate need for human expression, and our penchant for creating and passing on myths and legends, this desire to leave a trace, a word, an echo of our experiences.​

He views his faces through a kaleidoscope of perspective. His almost cubist portraits are intertwined with modern cold iconography and ancestral animal imagery.
He externalizes the ephemerality of the subjective perception of the present, and our humble place in the passage of time.
His visual language incorporates from ingenuous rupestrian figuration to the more satirical and cynical urban expressions of graffiti/street-art. This paradoxical cohabitation of ancient memories and contemporary perspectives constitutes a sort of anachronistic future relic which manifests the ongoing evolution of the creative act.​

Born in 1974 in Dinan, Doud lives and works in Bretagne (France).

Loic Tarin -Doud.- cherche à cerner et à transmettre la stature de l´Homme moderne au sein du monde naturel originel, le besoin humain inné d'expression, et notre propension à créer et transmettre des mythes et légendes, cette volonté de laisser une trace, une parole, un écho de ses vécus.​

Il regarde ses visages au travers d'un kaléidoscope de perspective. A ses portraits presque cubistes se mêlent des iconographies froide modernes qui s'entrelacent à la figuration animalière ancestrale.
Il extériorise l'éphémérité de la perception subjective du présent, et notre modeste place dans le temps.
Son langage visuel incorpore la figuration rupestre spontanée jusqu'aux expressions urbaines graffiti/street-art plus satiriques et cyniques. Cette cohabitation paradoxale des mémoires ancienne et visions contemporaines; forment une sorte de futur vestige anachronique qui manifeste l'évolution continue de l'acte créatif.​
