An idea, a suggestion arises in my soul and in my mind. There, precisely where a change must occur, I am compelled to ask "What if This entered into conversation with That, and That called upon yet Something Else ? Within me, utterly free, the process of intuition exists, guides, takes lead. ..."
Born in Texas, USA in 1964, Kristin lives and works between the US, Spain and most recently in her studio La Charnière in southern France.
Her academic background in Fine Arts includes Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, New Jersey; Indiana University of Pennsylvania, EINA Escola de Disseny i Art, Barcelona and CIEC International Centre of Printmaking, Betanzos, Spain. She is grateful to have studied with artists such as Joan Semmel, Emma Amos, Rosa Tarruella and Iván Araújo.
In 2016 she founded the women's international printmaking collective, A R T ï T s. Her work hangs in private and public collections in the United States and abroad, including US Embassy, Madrid; Permanent Print Collection of the National Library of Spain, Madrid; Café de Colombia, Madrid; DesLettres, Paris; Diverdi, Madrid; Open Access Law, Little Rock, AR; Saint Vincent’s Hospital, AR; European Professional Women’s Network, Madrid.

Née au Texas en 1964, Kristin vit et travaille entre les États-Unis, l'Espagne et, plus récemment, son atelier de La Charnière, dans le sud de la France.
Sa formation en beaux-arts comprend des études à la Mason Gross School of the Arts de l'Université Rutgers (New Jersey), à l'Université d'Indiana en Pennsylvanie, à l'EINA Escola de Disseny i Art de Barcelone et au CIEC International Center of Printmaking de Betanzos (Espagne). Elle a eu le privilège d'étudier auprès d'artistes tels que Joan Semmel, Emma Amos, Rosa Tarruella et Iván Araújo.
En 2016, elle a fondé le collectif international d'estampes féminines A R T ï T s. Ses œuvres figurent dans des collections privées et publiques aux États-Unis et à l'étranger, notamment à l'ambassade des États-Unis à Madrid, dans la collection permanente d'estampes de la Bibliothèque nationale d'Espagne à Madrid, chez Colombian Coffee à Madrid, chez DesLettres à Paris, chez Diverdi à Madrid, chez Open Access Law à Little Rock (Arkansas), à l'hôpital Saint Vincent (Arkansas) et au Réseau européen des femmes professionnelles à Madrid.
